H. E. B. (Sheldon) Limited is a holiday and residential property company based in Sheffield. They own properties in both England and America.

Under the Electricity at Work Regulations holiday properties are classed as places of work, and the directors therefore recognised their duty to ensure the safety of their electrical appliances. They had also received a mailing from their letting agency reminding them of their obligation to carry out PAT Testing.

They contacted us regarding the testing of their property in Scarborough. As holiday properties are occupied from Saturday to Saturday we carried out the testing between 11am and 3pm so as not to disturb any guests.

We produced an asset register and full test readings for the property which the directors can use to demonstrate compliance with the regulations.
